An opportunity presents itself when an opening appears in Naraku’s barrier, but it’s that time of the month again for Inuyasha.
Original Are Date: 15 Apr 2002, Streamed on: Hulu
Koga outruns what’s left of his pack as they beg him to stop and wait for them. He reveals that his plan is to attack and kill Naraku as revenge for Kagura’s slaughter of his tribe.
Some expository conversation reveals that Inuyasha will be human tonight, the night of the new moon. Koga shows up, and it appears that something is drawing everyone toward Naraku’s castle. Then, just as Koga’s pack catches up to him, he takes off again.
At night, Kagura flies out with an army of undead castle guards to confront Koga and what remains of his pack, but the guards are no match for him. Kagura conjures a cyclone from their shattered bones, corralling Koga inside, while his men struggle to think of a way to rescue him.
The pair of wolf demons ran back to find Inuyasha’s crew to ask for help. Being the noble gang that they are, it takes little convincing to get them to saddle up and ride to the rescue.
Koga escapes the cyclone, but before his attack reaches Kagura, the undead army catches him from behind. Kagura successfully dislodges and retrieves the jewel shards in Koga’s legs before riding off again on her giant feather.
Kagura realizes that Naraku’s barrier is weakened, concluding that Naraku is gone, but where? While she contemplates her next move, she has a vision of Sesshomaru, so she seeks him out, believing he has the power to sever her link to Naraku.
She offers him the two jewel shards she carries in exchange for killing Naraku.

Did you miss it?
Even when human, Inuyasha has no fear of the wolf demons. Pretty disrespectful, honestly.
