Inuyasha’s demon blood has overtaken him during his battle with Ryukotsusei. Everyone runs for safety. Everyone, that is, except Kagome!
Original Air Date: 10 Dec 2001, Streamed on: Hulu
Inuyasha’s transformation surprises Ryukotsusei. His claws are doing more damage than his sword was. Totosai advises retreat since Inuyasha has chosen to fight as a demon, but Kagome wants to stay.
Inuyasha fights his demon blood and moves to pick up his fallen sword. The dragon unleashes another breathy hadouken, but Inuyasha blocks it with Tetsusaiga’s sheath!
Miroku diverts the path of the next attack using his wind tunnel.
Finally, Inuyasha picks up his sword, and his friends, who didn’t get far, stick around to watch the battle.
Within moments, Tetsusaiga is light enough for Inuyasha to swing it with one arm, so he lunges and pierces his enemy’s heart. With a hole in his heart, the dragon begins to fire hadoukens throughout the valley in turbo mode.
The sword is practically weightless now, and a wind scar has formed around Tetsusaiga. Inuyasha unleashes it at his enemy, but Ryukotsusei rises from the attack. Inuyasha is way too thrilled about it, but the biggest hadouken he’s ever seen is heading right for him. He tries to cut through it by attacking it with his face.
This somehow reveals the backlash wave. Inuyasha cuts through it with the wind scar, and it transforms Ryukotsusei into an eel roll on the valley floor.
With hilarious timing, Totosai explains the backlash wave after it was used to save everyone. The final minute shows Inuyasha invoking the wind scar up and down the valley.

The English dub of this episode uses the phrase “rock hard body” enough that it has to be a bit.
